Winners of the BIFAs 2010 announced including “The King’s Speech”, “The Arbor” and “Never Let Me Go”

The King’s Speech was the big winner at the British Independent Film Awards 2010 taking home the prizes for Best British Independent Film, Best Screenplay (David Seidler), Best Actor (Colin Firth), Best Supporting Actress (Helena Bonham Carter) and Best Supporting Actor (Geoffrey Rush). Music Sales Film & TV has three songs in the film: “Who’s Been Polishing the Sun?” (Gay), “I Love You Truly” (Bond/King) and “Shout for Happiness” (Blight/Hart).

Carey Mulligan won Best Actress for her performance in Never Let Me Go which features the Music Sales song “Count Your Blessings and Smile” (Gifford/Cliffe/Formby).

Clio Barnard won the Douglas Hickox Award for Best Debut Director for her film The Arbor which was music supervised by Music Sales Film & TV.
