Music Sales’ French office was set up in Paris in 1992 in order to represent Music Sales catalogues locally, to acquire pop catalogues and to develop a roster of French writers. Chester Music France promotes our classical catalogues. Popular music is represented by Campbell Connelly France (Editions Atalante, Monde Melody and noJazz), Allo Music, Les Editions du Chiffre Neuf and Les Editions Henri Salvador. The company is actively involved in the use of its music in media: TV commercials, film music, song-plugging and artist development.
Claude Duvivier is the group’s Managing Director, a board member of the French music publishers union, vice president of ACDMF (Association for the creation and broadcasting of French music) and ex board member of SDRM (the society which handles mechanical rights).
Claire Lagarde administers the accounts and the administration.
Axelle Bernard is Head of Copyright and Royalties assisted by Claire Vergnet (royalties) and Arnaud Pouyadou (copyright).
Emmanuelle Mérand assists Claude Duvivier in the synchronisation and song plugging department.
